Progress Report, in which I muster up the energy

A day late with this, owing to the fact that I’ve been traveling.  Anyway, managed 4.5K on Wet Work last week.  Cue Magic Meter:

Damnation Books Scares Up “The Woman Who Hated Halloween”

The good folks at Damnation Books are buying my story "The Woman Who Hated Halloween."  It’s slated for a September 2010 pub date, in time for next Halloween.

This is actually my first sale of 2009.  I was beginning to fear I would get blanked this year.  That’s just the way the biz works–hot and cold.  (Well, mostly cold, if you want to know the truth, but you get the idea.)

Anyway, I sold a story.  Woo-hoo!

Odyssey Blog Interview

Krista Hoeppner Leahy and I were recently interviewed about our Writers of the Future experience for the Odyssey Workshop blog.  Interested parties may find the interview here.

Krista and I are both Odyssey grads, doncha know.

Odfellows rule!
